CASA DAS LÉRIAS: Story written by the river

This project is the result of the development by Mercan Group, architecture by Bárbara Abreu, construction by Retail Concept and supervision by Sopsec.

Located in the center of the small historic area of the city of Amarante, with a privileged view over the Tâmega river, a few meters from the church and bridge of São Gonçalo. Casa das Lérias rehabilitated a 100-year-old factory of convent sweet of Amarante. This factory used to be the symbol of the modernization of the city.

The hotel influenced by the modern movement, namely the Bauhaus school, the building was able to maintain its avantgarde character over the decades.

Casa das Lérias was designed with the main white and green color to make the tourists feel fresh and imagine that they are lost in the garden with full of sun and trees. This is a boutique hotel offering 4-star accommodation and has a garden, a terrace, and a bar. From opening the hotel to now, the hotel gets the highest booking room to reach 9.2.
