European coliving giant DoveVivo buys Altido: Portugal in strategic market

The objective is to create the largest residential management company in Europe, and Portugal is a strategic market.

DoveVivo, the European coliving giant, has just announced the purchase of Altido, a specialist in local accommodation processes in the hospitality sector. The objective is to create the largest residential accommodation management platform in Europe, with more than 12,000 beds, 2,500 properties and apartments in 40 cities in 6 countries, including Portugal, Italy, Spain, France, England and Scotland.

Founded in 2007, DoveVivo manages a portfolio of nearly 10,000 rooms in 1,500 properties and nine residences in 15 cities that are leased in single rooms or entire apartments to thousands of students and young professionals. Altido, born in 2019 from the merger of four property management companies from Portugal, Italy, England and Scotland, now has more than 1,000 managed properties and 700 beds in pop-up hotels in more than 20 cities.
