Mercan Group: Grand Opening of Casa das Lérias on 1st October

Located on the banks of the Tâmega River and at the beginning of one of the main arteries of the city centre, the building offers ample outdoor space and a “harmonious and relaxed interior, ideal for those looking for services with modern amenities that combine comfort and elegance.

The “Casa das Lérias” in Amarante, a historic place famous for selling the sweets in the Lérias – has been converted into a hotel with 23 rooms. The hotel opens its doors last Friday, October 1st, by Mercan Properties, which invested 7 million euros in transforming the property.

The hotel management of “Casa das Lérias” will be managed of Ace Hospitality Management (AHM). “Casa das Lérias is another achievement for Mercan Properties, which has shown itself to be resilient at a time of great economic uncertainty and which continues to betsecurely on Portugal, demonstrating its confidence in the country’s tourism potential. As in all our projects, we combine the tradition of the local with the quality and modernity that characterizes us.
