Lisbon top 10 for American vacations

The Portuguese capital is part of the Top 10 trending destinations for the 2023 holidays in the USA.

American Express Travel recently launched a list of trending destinations for the 2023 holidays in the United States of America (USA) and Lisbon is among the top 10.

To carry out this study – “Amex Trendex” -, the company used global data from American Express Card to see which places had the highest number of reservations between 2019 and 2022. All respondents had a family income of at least $70,000 per year (about 66,500 euros/year) and were defined as people who usually travel by plane at least once a year, according to a report by Publituris.

The 10 most popular travel destinations to vacation in the US in 2023 are:
