Mercan Group: OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING OF FONTINHA PORTO, TRADEMARK COLLECTION BY WYNDHAM ON APRIL 4th, 2022

Fontinha Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham is the result of an urban rehabilitation project of Mercan Group that qualified for Portugal Golden Visa Program. This hotel was completed construction in July 2021, then Mercan Group signed of the franchise agreement with Wyndham, as Trademark Collection.

The new four-star hotel located in the historic centre of Oporto, between Rua da Fontinha and Rua de Santa Catarina. Furthermore, this is the first Trademark Collection by Wyndham hotel in Portugal is invested from 14 million euros by Mercan Properties – Part of Mercan Group of Companies.

Fontinha hotel has 49 rooms over six floors decorated in tones of white, beige and brown which contrast with nature images and patterns. The wood elements combined with the textured walls provide the same sense of comfort as you would find at home. Moreover, it has many amenities such as a restaurant and bar, and a courtyard with a fountain and garden makes the holiday even more wonderful.

In addition to its welcoming atmosphere, Fontinha Bar allows hotel guests to “disconnect” from the rush of the city, while enjoying the gastronomic experiences this place has to offer.
