Mercan’s project update: Marriott Renaissance starts construction in Lapa, Porto

Marriott Renaissance Lapa is the project of Mercan Group which qualified for Golden Visa Program (ARI). Apart from becoming EU citizen via Golden Visa Program, the Marriott Renaissance will bring a great investment opportunity in hotel industry in Porto.

The MARRIOTT RENAISSANCE LAPA is the rehabilitation from the 2.5 acres land to four-star hotel in Porto. The Renaissance brand is premium brand which belongs to one of the World’s largest hotel – Marriot and has the perfect concept to give the hotel a vibrant, modern and sophisticated atmosphere. After getting approval for licensing and successfully bidding constructor, Marriott Renaissance Lapa project starts construction in the end of December, 2020 and its opening is forecasted for the summer of 2022.

Hotel located near the iconic Lapa Church, within a 15 minutes walking distance to Avenida dos Aliados and the Town House, which are the reference centre points of the city, creating perfect conditions to become the unique venue for banqueting and meetings.

  • Return of investment: 100% (350,000EUR)
