New direct flights to Prague

According to a report by Publituris, the airline is the first to offer direct connections to the Azores from Prague. Flights are scheduled to operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, departing from Václav Havel Airport.

Flight QS1172 will depart at 12:00 pm and arrive in Ponta Delgada at 3:30 pm local time with a flight time of five hours and 30 minutes. On the return, flight QS1173, lasting four hours and 35 minutes, will leave Ponta Delgada at 4:15 pm local time and land in Prague at 10:50 pm.

Peter Šujan, sales director at Smartwings, expressed his enthusiasm in offering this new holiday destination to his customers, noting that the company already connects Prague with regular flights with the Canary Islands of Tenerife (daily from May 6, 2024 ), Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, as well as Madeira.
