New Marina for Vilamoura

Vilamoura World has announced the beginning of the construction for a new marina in Vilamoura, in the Algarve, aiming to attract high net worth visitors.

The development will allow for 68 mooring berths, equipped with the latest technologies, capable of contributing to user comfort and environmental sustainability.

The new marina’s capacity is intended for large vessels, between 20 and 40 metres, to accommodate the accelerated growth trend in this sector and to reinforce the destination’s appeal to attract a high net-worth demographic.

The new marina is expected to deliver a significant boost to local tourism in the Algarve. The added capacity for larger yachts will attract a more affluent visitor demographic, keen on experiencing the area’s luxury services and scenic beauty, who contribute to the local economy by increasing revenue in local businesses.

The construction of the New Marina is expected to be completed by the end 2024.
