Panama has officially been ranked the best country in the world for expats in 2025, according to the latest Expat Insider report by InterNations—strengthening its position as one of the most desirable destinations for those seeking a high-quality, well-balanced life abroad.

The annual survey, active since 2014, evaluates over 50 key factors that shape the expat experience, including quality of life, working conditions, personal finances, ease of settling in, and overall happiness. This year, Panama outperformed all 46 participating destinations, placing within the global top three across every major index.
