- 10 January, 26
The Ellinikon residential development, located on the site of the former airport in southern Athens, has attracted attention from buyers in over 110 countries. According to data released by the developer, international buyers account for 45% of total sales, highlighting the project’s global appeal in the real estate market.
Significant Participation from the Greek Diaspora
Among international buyers, 22% are members of the Greek diaspora, primarily residing in the United States and Australia. This underscores the continued interest of overseas Greeks in investing in domestic real estate, providing a key driver for the project’s sales momentum.
Roadshows and Marketing Campaigns Boost Global Attention
The developer emphasized that roadshows and promotional activities play a critical role in attracting international buyers. Recently, the project was showcased at the 2025 Real Estate Conference in Perth, Australia, highlighting Athens as a modern and sustainable urban living destination, which further enhanced recognition in international markets.
Strong Sales Performance
As of November 30, total sales revenue for the Ellinikon project reached €1.5 billion. Within the Little Athens community, 84% of the 671 residential units have been sold or reserved, reflecting strong market demand and investor confidence in the project.
