Mercan Group signs with Hilton to open first Tapestry Collection Hotel in Portugal

The hotel with unique 77-room property that will bring an exciting new guest experience to Portugal’s second-largest city. The hotel is owned by Referência Arrojada SA, a subsidiary of Mercan Group of Companies, and will operate under a franchise agreement with Hilton, with the opening planned for early summer 2021. It will be Portugal’s first Tapestry Collection property.

The hotel will be located at Rua Chã 38, 4000-052 Porto, Portugal

This is the project that qualified for Portugal Golden Visa Program which is the most competitive program that offer foreign investors and family members the right to reside in Portugal/EU and get EU passport. Mercan launches the Golden Visa Program under property rehabilitation category. Until now, Mercan successfully calls for more than 300 investment slots from over 36 countries to invest in this scheme.
