Portugal leading with ultra-fast internet

Communication regulator ANACOM has compared Portuguese communications services with those of the rest of the European Union during 2021 and found that Portugal ranks fourth in terms of high-speed broadband connections.
With regard to the different types of internet access, it was found that 81% of Portuguese users access fixed broadband, as opposed to the general 77% of the European Union, and 47% use mobile broadband, which is lower than the EU’s average of 58%.
