Casa da Companhia – IHG Vignette Collection nominated for “Portugal’s Leading Boutique Hotel” in the “World Travel Awards”

World Travel Awards is the travel industry’s most prestigious awards program, was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.  

Each year, the World Travel Awards covers the globe with its Grand Tour of Regoional Ceremonies – a series of regional gala ceremonies to recognise excellence and uniqueness of the hospitality sector on each continent.

In 2023, for this year’s the 30^th edition, Casa da Companhia – IHG Vignette Collection has attracted the attention of experts with the nomination for “Portugal’s Leading Boutique Hotel of 2023” and “Europe’s Leading New Boutique Hotel 2023”. Besides, Lisbon and Porto city, 2 largest cities in Portugal also included in the nomination for “Europe’s Leading City Destination 2023” that contribute to the growth of the tourism and hospitality industry.

Casa da Companhia – IHG Vignette Collection is the third 5-star hotel in Porto that qualified for Portugal Golden Visa program developed by Mercan Group. Located on Rua das Flores street, the hotel used to be a head quarter of Real Companhia Velha, the first exporting wine company in Porto and now is a luxury hotel. The luxury hotel provides 2 floors, 40 unique rooms and suites with 5-star standard amenities such as a spa, a gym, indoor and outdoor heated pools, and an outdoor terrace.
