Sé Catedral Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, nominated for the “Best Four-Star Hotel” category, in Portugal Travel Awards 2023

Sé Catedral – Tapestry Collection by Hilton has received nomination for this year’s edition of the “Publituris Portugal Travel Awards 2023” in the “Best 4-Star Hotel” category. The nominees were chosen by the Publituris team.

The ‘Publituris’ newspaper organizes the “Portugal Travel Awards” every year, which aims to reward the best hotel units in the country. This unique initiative in Portugal had its first genesis in 1969, under the name of The Best of Tourism in Portugal.

In 2023, for this year’s edition the 18th edition of the “Publituris Portugal Travel Awards” have 174 nominees in the competition in 22 categories, which are intended to reward the best companies, hotels and accommodation, institutions, services, and professionals who stood out in the Tourism sector during 2023.

For the 2023 edition, 8 hotels are competing in the “Best 4-star Hotel” category, including the Sé Catedral – Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

Located in the heart of the Historic Centre of Porto, less than 500 meters from the Douro River, this hotel is the result of the rehabilitation of investment of 23.8M EUR by Mercan Group that qualified for Portugal Golden Visa program. In March of this year, Sé Hilton Tapestry celebrated its First Anniversary. Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a portfolio of 100 original hotels that offer guests unique styles and vibrant personalities.

Online voting takes place on June 26, 2023. The winners will be announced on July 6, 2023, starting at 7 pm at the Montebelo Mosteiro de Alcobaça Historic Hotel, in Alcobaça.
