Mercan Group: Grand Opening of Sé Catedral Hotel on March 21st, 2022 in Porto

The Sé Catedral Hotel Porto, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is the result of an urban rehabilitation project that qualified for Portugal Golden Visa Program.

Located on one of the city’s noble areas, the new 4-star hotel is invested 23.8 million euros by Mercan Properties – Part of Mercan Group of Companies, which is the first project under the Tapestry Collection Brand, belonging to the international Hilton Group operating in Portugal.

The new hotel has 77 rooms, a restaurant, bar, and a cafe on the terrace, with a view of Porto Sé Cathedral, one of the country’s oldest monuments, built in the 12th century. Within walking distance is the banks of Douro River, as well as several historic churches, museums, and restaurants.

The Sé Catedral Hotel Porto, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is the second Mercan Properties hotel to be opened in the city of Porto, followed by the Hotel Casa da Companhia, in July 2021.
