PORTUGAL GOLDEN VISA – UPDATE INFORMATION ON THE BILL PROPOSAL

Following the announcement on May 19th, 2023, the Parliament has approved the proposal regarding the end of Golden Visa program, which is included in the “More Housing” Bill.

The proposal was approved by the general session of Parliament. It will be discussed by a separate committee commission, which will propose a final draft. The first meeting of this commission is scheduled for May 31st, 2023.

The final version of the document will be come back and approved by the Parliament. After the final version is approved by the Parliament, it will be sending to proposed amendment to the President of Republic. We predict that it will fall in some day of July 2023.
